New Construction Plumbing

Groundwork, rough-in, finish plumbing, gas piping, fixtures, and project coordination.
Finished plumbing fixture installation on a Plumbed Perfect new-construction project.
Overview

New-construction plumbing has to work before the walls close and still look right when the fixtures are set. We coordinate the plumbing by phase so groundwork, rough-in, finish and field changes stay connected.

Plumbed Perfect works with homeowners, builders and general contractors on new homes, additions, commercial construction and selected development projects. The plumbing scope may include groundwork, underground piping, rough-in, water distribution, DWV, gas piping, fixtures, trim-out, testing and closeout coordination.

A phased plumbing plan

New construction works best when groundwork, rough-in and finish are treated as connected phases rather than separate visits. We plan around the drawings, fixture selections, structural layout, excavation, concrete, framing and other trades so field decisions made early do not create problems at finish.

Typical Work

Typical work includes groundwork and under-slab piping, rough-in plumbing, water and DWV systems, gas piping where applicable, fixture setting, trim-out, testing, field changes and closeout work.

What helps us price and coordinate a project

  • Current plans and plumbing/fixture schedules.
  • Project address and expected construction schedule.
  • Known utility locations and site conditions.
  • Fixture selections or allowances.
  • Information about slab, crawlspace, basement and mechanical-room layout.
  • GC or owner expectations for excavation, permits, equipment and closeout.
Where It Fits

This service is best suited to projects where plumbing needs to stay coordinated with excavation, framing, concrete, mechanical trades and the overall construction schedule.

Questions builders and owners commonly ask

Can you handle the project from underground through fixture setting? Yes, when that complete scope is included in the project agreement. Keeping the phases connected is usually the cleanest way to manage field changes.

Can site work and underground plumbing be coordinated? Yes. Where the scopes overlap, Plumbed Perfect and Prepped Perfect can coordinate plumbing and dirt work rather than creating unnecessary handoffs.

When should plumbing be involved? Before concrete and framing decisions lock in routes that affect drains, vents, water lines, equipment and fixture locations.
